Current Role

Adrian is responsible for managing the origination activities of Cohen Financial’s debt placement, equity placement, investment sales, and advisory services.  He oversees all of the company's origination offices and all mortgage banking associates.

Past Experience

Prior to joining Cohen Financial, Adrian retired from Freddie Mac in June 2006 after spending 7 years as a Senior Vice President, leading the multifamily division.  He helped grow and manage the company’s multifamily portfolio, which included conventional and structured mortgages, CMBS and tax credit equity portfolios, to $110 billion from $ 13 billion. From June 2006 until March 2007 he served as Senior Vice President and consultant for the new management team in the multifamily division.  Before joining Freddie Mac, Adrian was a Managing Director at Allstate Insurance Corp. for 3 years, responsible for all real estate equity, commercial mortgage and CMBS investments.  Prior to his position at Allstate, he spent 10 years as senior vice president and head of fixed income investments at New England Mutual Life Insurance Company (now a subsidiary of MetLife).
