Current Role

Bruce is responsible for the origination and placement of debt, mezzanine, and equity for development, acquisition and permanent financing. Bruce's experience includes a wide range of structures and commercial property types, including mixed-use, hotels and residential developments.  Bruce is a licensed securities advisor and specializes in complex capital structures.

Past Experience

Began his career in real estate finance in 1985

Prior to joining Cohen Financial, Bruce was one of the original founders of Fremont Investment & Loan commercial lending division.  Bruce served as Vice President, Regional Manager of Northern California.  Prior to Fremont, Bruce worked for Secured Capital, advising on loan portfolio acquisitions.  Prior to Secured Capital, Bruce was an Associate at Marcus & Millichap selling commercial properties.
