Mr. Sheehan is responsible for the origination, analysis, and placement of real estate debt and equity structured finance investments nationwide.

Past Experience
Over 10 years of commercial real estate finance experience

Prior to joining Cohen Financial, Mr. Sheehan was responsible for expanding L.J. Melody & Company’s Miami office as Vice President.  During his tenure at LJM, Sheehan was involved in the placement of over $2 billion dollars of secured and unsecured debt and equity investments primarily in real estate oriented assets, which include over 6,000 residential apartment and condo units, 10,000 single-family home sites and 1.5 million square feet of office and retail space.  Sheehan was also responsible for investment sales exceeding $200M along with several highly structured equity and mezzanine transactions among different asset types including, but not limited to land banking, timeshare, condo-hotel, condo development, condo conversion, office, retail, office condo, dry dock/rack, marina, golf course and master planned communities.  Prior to joining LJM, Sheehan worked with Bear Stearns as an associate within the government-backed debt securities trading desk.
