Current Role

Dean leads the Loan Administration operations for Cohen Financial and is responsible for overseeing all functional areas of the department—including customer service, portfolio reporting, loan operations, asset management, special servicing, compliance, training and servicing system administration. Dean leverages his extensive loan servicing knowledge, business process reengineering and technology skills to ensure that Loan Administration operates in an efficient and effective manner to the benefit of our lender and borrower customers.

 

Dean is also a member of the company’s executive committee, risk management committee and the information technology steering committee.

 

Joined Cohen Financial in September, 2006

Past Experience

Over 20 years of financial services experience, the last 17 years in commercial real estate loan servicing and technology.

Prior to joining Cohen Financial, Dean served in several key management roles with Midland Loan Services, one of the largest commercial loan servicers and special servicers in North America. He served in key operational management roles for large scale loan conversions, institutional client servicing and accounting, business process reengineering and systems development. His efforts were instrumental in helping Midland become a top-rated loan servicer and leading technology solutions provider.
