Past Experience
Over 25 years of commercial real estate finance experience

Prior to joining Cohen Financial, Kevin served with L.J. Melody & Company as a Director.  Prior to L.J. Melody, Kevin served with Aztec Group, Inc. as a Managing Director.  Prior to that, he was a Senior Officer with Atlantic Gulf Communities, where he was responsible for the acquisition of 17 individual projects and obtaining over $800 million in debt and equity over a four-year period.  Prior to that, O’Grady held senior positions with Ahmanson Developments, Robert Trent Jones Development Company, CSX Development and Turner Development Corporation.  In his combined experience, O’Grady has been responsible for the development of approximately 10 million square feet of commercial projects, 25,000 single-family housing units, $700 million in investment sales, over $6 billion in financing and 6 million square feet of commercial office leasing, thus giving him a very broad background and expertise.
