Current Role

Mark is responsible for managing the origination, analysis, and placement of real estate debt and equity throughout the United States. Mark has participated in the placement of debt and equity, as well as the acquisition and disposition of approximately $3 billion of real estate assets. He has financed approximately 5 million square feet of office space for sponsors nationwide and has participated in structuring the financing for over 20,000 apartment units, as well as approximately 3 million sq. ft. of retail.

Over 30 years of commercial real estate finance experience

Prior to joining Cohen Financial, Mark served as Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer at Commerce Dynamics, Inc., where he was responsible for securing venture capital for the development and growth of the company. Prior to that, Mark served as a Senior Investment Associate, as well as, a Regional Manager for the real estate investment brokerage firm of Marcus & Millichap. Mark also served as President of the real estate syndication firm The Equity Group.
